SAFEGUARDING TRAINING

As part of your role at Penny Lane, it is key that you are aware of the signs of abuse that a child/vulnerable adult may display. We want to ensure that you are trained so that we don't miss anything and so that we are doing the best for our members.

For that reason we are asking that you complete the diocesan safeguarding training as soon as possible and email in the certificate to say that you have completed it.

You will need to complete the Basic Awareness course which can be completed on the Church of England Portal.

To do the training you will need to register here. The final four answers to the sign up process are:

Training Institution – Not part of a training institution

Diocese – Liverpool

My church's town/city and Name – Liverpool: St Barnabas Penny Lane Church

Church Role – Kids Volunteer/Youth Volunteer/PCC/Group Leader/Pastoral Care Team

If you can please let us know when you've completed the Basic Awareness and Foundation courses and send across the certificates upon completion to laura.rayment@pennylanechurch.org
